Dan Baldwin and Greg Chilton

President/CEO Dan Baldwin and 2016 Chair Greg Chilton

No two people have exactly the same reasons and goals for giving. The Community Foundation for Monterey County (CFMC) crafts individual solutions to help each person achieve his or her unique philanthropic vision.

It all connects. Donors establish funds and recommend grants. Grants fuel nonprofit organizations in Monterey County and beyond. Nonprofit programs and services helps create healthy, safe, vibrant communities.

Our 2016 Annual Report “Philanthropy by Design” details a record year for grants, gifts, scholarships, new funds, assets and more.

“The stewardship of those assets. How we invest, how we grant, how we honor donor intent, is a top priority of your community foundation each and every day.” – Dan Baldwin, CFMC President, CEO
